I want a desktop. I’m a stay at home mom that wants a part time job based off the internet taking calls and such. I’m also 19 so I want plenty off room for music and videos etc… And some room for possibly a couple games. And all at a reasonable price :) What do you computer gurus suggest for me?

Michael, thats no answer. to be pefectly honest hun, i would go for a Packard Bell iMedia A2620, got a good medium speed processor and plenty of ram so you can run any call logging programs quickly and efficiently. it has a 320GB hard drive so you will have plenty of room for your music and any toher personal files you want. again your ram will also be efficient when playing games so no problem there. you could also go for an Acer Aspire X1301 Space-saving PC, this one is alot smaller than a normal desktop pc but does exactly the same job as the one i described above. but if you would like to look around for another pc, and know what your looking for you want to look for something with the following:
you want at least a 2 GHz dual core CPU/Processor
3 GB of RAM
Minimum of 250GB hard drive, but better go for 320GB to be safe
dont necessarily need a graphics card unless you are gonna be playing high spec games, but is still handy to have if you are going to be video streaming from things like bbci, or youtube, or even watching movies, is good to have. ummm, oh and you can get some with built in wireless for internet, but not essential. hope this helps, personally i am building my own but thats only so i can get exactly what i want, and costs more too so dont go down that route, lol. anyway, if you have any more questions, just add details to your question, or email me. hope you find what you are looking for xxx

  3. I don’t feel like a long explanation- email me later if you need one but simply make sure that your new PC comes with an I7 860 CPU. After that, ideally, make sure you get at least 4GB of DDR3 @ "1333MHZ." It should also have a 32mb Hard Drive (Western Digital – WD 640GB / 32mb is ideal).

I built one and researched it- the above specs deliver the best bang for your buck- by far. See Tom’s Hardware to verify my claims.
