What are the recommended specs for a laptop that would be good to run internet and internet conferencing?

Im in the market for a CHEAP used laptop. I would use it mainly for MSN messenger (video and voice) and some internet browsing. What are the RECOMMENDED (not minimum) specs i would need to run these programs fairly efficiently…RAM, processor, operating system etc etc.Brands and online stores that sell would also b a big help. Thanks!

you sound like an e bay wannabe. gig of ram, any current prossesor by amd or intel. i find vista to be kick people who don’t like it are back in the stone or just careless or should have there computer confiscated.
