How many times are we told that buying a property is all about location, location, location? How many times have you been to view a property and have known before entering the house it’s not right? There’s something about it that’s not been shown or mentioned in the photos and description of standard estate agent details.
In this day and age people expect more and want to avoid wasted trips and time spent viewing unsuitable properties especially as so many people are now buying and investing in property abroad as well.
Shouldn’t estate agents have stepped up their marketing methods from traditional photos and A4 paper details to more advanced methods? Selling property today is big business of which estate agents like to take a big slice of the action. With property prices having increased immensly over recent years so have the average commissions for selling, so why can’t marketing methods improve also?
With more and more people searching for property online, why shouldn’t there be a way to view property from the comfort of your own home or office without having to make that trip to view it. Video Property Tours makes that realism with the facility to view property as if you were actually there. This helps to make online websites offering video tours more factual rather than just photos and text alone.
Imagine going online and viewing a property abroad, its internal features, it’s external positioning, the land it stands on and depending on standard of filming, it’s actual location including local shopping areas, beaches and views etc. A picture may speak a thousand words, but surely if your property lays on the beach front a video will tell a thousand pictures?
Video Property Tours will be the way forward in marketing property both with private sellers and estate agents globally. There are already signs that forward thinking estate agents and private sellers are marketing using video tours, though there are very limited websites offering a database to host them. One exception is the newly formed website http://www.OneStopView.com which is a totally free to use website specialising in advertising property that have video footage to aid marketing. Rather like the fun video posting website YouTube, OneStopView.com offers Free video uploading and Free accounts, there are no fees, charges or commissions to pay.
People will need certain standard computers and ideally running on broadband to view these online video files.

How can I lower the file size of streaming video?
I am trying to load some marketing classes online for employee training, but I want to use online streaming video. I also want to maintain the rights to my intellectual property.
How do I lower the file size of my .avi files? I hope to export as a .flv or .wmv file, but DSL lines are EXTREMELY slow in downloading the video. I don’t want to lose clients just because they don’t have cable internet, yet.
Try right clicking on the item you want to compress select "Properties" on the listthen you will find a button at the bottom at the box that says ">>Advanced"
Click on it and another box will pop-up that has check boxes
select " Compress contents to save disk space" then click OK. It will switch to the original box, then click "Apply" then OK…..Then your done!!
