Cause I have the HTC G1 and its getting really shit, its slow, it wont let me on youtube or the market , wont let me take pictures Im thinking is it possible to get a new one when your in contract?

If it is getting slow,
The new phones are like computers…
if you start many applications/tasks then they stay running in the background till you stop them.. taking processor power.

A quick way to stop these is take the battery out…
and then start the phone again.

reason 2:
won;t let you take pictures…
Suggests it is out of memory… this will make the phone computer Slow
and again suggests Too many applications running OR too many photos stored etc.. (can you take them off/delete them?)
or again..take the battery out to stop the applications

if so, infutire make sure you choose Exit/quit application
not just home screen and start another.

Reason 3:
The other reason could be, you are in a location that has poor 3G coverage..so the internet speed (not th ephone) is slow.. if you are only on GPRS or EDGE you will be slow. – check what the phone says it is using …when you are having slow issues.

and take it to a t-mo shop and let them test it…
If it is faulty, they should exchange it.
if it is another fault.. they should help you locate it

  1. You are only normally able to do this if it is a fault with the phone or you have insurance with your contract. Give them a call, its worth a try.
